Vision Statement

 

 

We believe that all students deserve:

a proper and suitable public education by adults who offer fair opportunities for all students to be successful. We feel students deserve dedicated teachers who are excellent role models and provide a caring and safe environment. We believe all students deserve an atmosphere where learning is encouraged and expected. We believe all students deserve to be treated with respect in a harassment free setting. We believe students deserve to be empowered to develop goals through broad exposure to careers and future life choices. We believe all students deserve to feel a sense of support from a variety of sources.

 

As a result of our VISION statement our long term GOALS for our school’s achievement data is as follows:

 

-        100% of our students will pass ISTEP math and end of course assessments (9th grade = 63%, 10th grade = 65% in 2009)

-        100% of our students will pass ISTEP Language Arts and the end of course assessments (9th grade = 70%, 10th grade = 65% in 2009)

-        100% of our students will pass all classes with a “C” average or better (60% in 2009)

-        100% of our students will improve on NWEA test each time they take the assessment

-        100% of our students will earn a “Core 40 Diploma” or higher (62% in 2009)

-        100% of our students will earn an “Academic Honors Diploma” (37% in 2009)

-        100 % of our students will graduate from Lincoln High School (83.1% in 2009)

-        All students will attend 100% of the time (95.0% in 2009)

-        100% of our students will become productive citizens
